Unite 21 - Fearne's happy workplace with Fearne Cotton
Finding happiness in our fast-paced, increasingly digital world isn’t always as simple as it should be. We’re joined by broadcaster, best-selling author, and host of the chart-topping podcast Happy Place, Fearne Cotton, to discuss wellness in the modern age, including how technology can both help and hinder our search for happiness in the workplace and beyond.
Fearne Cotton is perhaps best known as a host of BBC’s Top of the Pops, the first-ever permanent female host of BBC Radio 1's Chart Show, and as the founder of her chart-topping podcast, Happy Place - but her interest in wellness underpins her entire career, as Fearne has released several books and projects dedicated to finding happiness in the modern world.
The organizational spotlight has now been shone on the subjects of wellness and mental health, and in this talk with Unily's product evangelist, Matthew Boyd, and product manager, Kaz Hassan, Fearne discusses the importance of promoting happiness and inclusion in the workplace, and how we can best use technology - including podcasts - to achieve it.
