Discover why Unily ranks first for Work Management: An interactive Product Tour

This year, we're taking a bold step to show you exactly why we think we outperformed all competitors across every use case. We've created a self-paced, interactive product tour that lets you explore the features and capabilities that earned us the top spot.

Recognition that translates to real-world value: Work Management

Gartner examined how well each solution meets the needs of six different use cases. Each vendor's product is evaluated across these critical capabilities, with a rating scale of 1.0 to 5.0 (where 1 is poor and 5 is outstanding). The product scores are then calculated by multiplying the ratings by the respective weightings for each use case. This methodology helps quantify how well each product meets the needs of different scenarios.

Gartner describes the Work Management use case as a way to “Enable organizations to manage tasks, track work progress, and coordinate workflows across teams to ensure timely execution of business processes.” Effective work management tools help organizations improve productivity by organizing and coordinating tasks, automating processes, and providing visibility into workflows. By streamlining work across teams, these solutions ensure that tasks are completed on time and resources are allocated efficiently, ultimately enhancing team collaboration and driving business outcomes.

The weighting system in this research highlights the critical importance of Work and Task Management (20%). This is the most highly weighted capability, underscoring the need for automation to reduce manual work, minimize errors, and increase operational efficiency. Vendors that excel in this area can significantly improve the speed and accuracy of task execution, ensuring that work progresses smoothly from initiation to completion.

Additionally, Collaboration (10%) and Multiexperience Support (10%) are both essential for seamless team interaction and coordination. These tools enable real-time communication, document sharing, and collaborative task tracking, ensuring that teams can work together efficiently even when dispersed.

The growing emphasis on AI (10%) indicates the shift towards modern work management solutions reducing the need for employees to toggle between multiple platforms and systems, anticipating the needs of employees which ultimately enhances productivity.
