Unily, the global leader in the Employee Experience space, has released its second Impact Report, showcasing impressive progress across its sustainability initiatives. The report also highlights the company’s ambitious targets for the future – reinforcing a commitment to driving positive change across industries.
The Impact Report goes beyond traditional financial reporting to provide a holistic view of Unily’s sustainability efforts and progress. In addition, it underlines the responsibility of organizations within the digital sector to contribute towards the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Studies show that ICT has the potential to enable a 20% reduction of global CO2e emissions by 2030.
“When your focus is on long term value creation, it’s easy to feel like you're not having an immediate impact, so it's important to take a moment and acknowledge the successes. Writing our second impact report provided the perfect moment of reflection for me. This year we've successfully navigated the ever increasing demands that are thrown our way, kept ahead of regulation and further cemented ourselves as leaders in our sector for sustainability.”
Jenny May, Environmental Social and Governance Manager, Unily
Strong progress on environmental goals
The report reveals that Unily is 5 years ahead of its target to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42%. A large part of this is due to the installation of solar panels at its Eashing office, as well as implementing carbon management accounting software, which allows for better visibility and tracking throughout the year. By optimizing operations and embracing greener practices, Unily is paving the way for a more sustainable future.
Consistently high sustainability metrics
For the third year running, Unily achieved a silver EcoVadis accreditation, placing the company in the top 15% of over 130,000 assessed companies. On this occasion, the business was just 1% shy of achieving gold status, with assessors especially complementary of efforts in the Environment, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement categories.

In addition, Unily far exceeds the global tech industry’s average ratio of 3:1 men to women, with the current workforce made up of 41% full-time women.
